Cuspart (“Cuspart”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Cuspart: myCal mobile application (the “App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how Cuspart: myCal handles information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Cuspart: myCal does not require you to create an account and does not maintain a cloud account for your calculations.
The App may handle the following types of information:
a. Calculator history and preferences
Your calculation history, selected theme, font preferences, key color settings, and other personalization options are stored locally on your device.
This information is not uploaded to Cuspart servers and is not accessible to us remotely. You can remove locally stored calculation history and personalization data from within the App or by deleting the App from your device.
b. Support communications
If you contact us at contact@cuspart.com, we may receive your email address, message, attachments, and any other information you voluntarily include in your communication.
We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, investigate problems, and improve the App.
c. Advertising information
The free version of the App may display advertisements provided by Google Mobile Ads.
Depending on your device settings, consent choices, and applicable laws, advertising providers may process information such as:
• Device or advertising identifiers
• IP address
• Approximate location derived from IP address
• Ad impressions and interactions
• App, device, and diagnostic information
Cuspart does not control how Google processes information collected through its advertising services. You can learn more from Google’s privacy documentation and manage advertising and tracking permissions through your device settings.
Cuspart: myCal may request permission through Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency framework where required. You can accept or deny this permission. Denying permission does not prevent you from using the App, although advertising may become less personalized.
d. Purchases
Cuspart: myCal offers a one-time, non-consumable Pro purchase through Apple’s App Store.
Payment details are processed by Apple. Cuspart does not receive or store your payment card number, bank information, or Apple ID password.
The App may receive limited purchase information, such as the product identifier and purchase status, so that Pro features can be enabled or restored.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
• Provide and operate the App
• Store your preferences locally on your device
• Display advertisements in the free version
• Enable and restore Pro features
• Respond to support requests
• Diagnose technical issues
• Protect the security and integrity of the App
• Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Information Sharing
We may share or allow access to information only where necessary with:
• Apple, for App Store purchases and purchase restoration
• Google and its advertising partners, for advertisements in the free version
• Service providers that help us respond to support requests
• Government authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights
Calculation history and personalization settings remain stored locally on your device and are not uploaded by Cuspart.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored calculation history and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, reset the relevant settings, or uninstall the App.
Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
You may request deletion of information associated with a support request by contacting contact@cuspart.com. Information processed by Apple or Google may need to be deleted or managed directly through their respective services and settings.
5. Your Choices
You can:
• Deny or change tracking permission through iOS Settings
• Reset or delete calculation history within the App
• Reset personalization settings within the App
• Uninstall the App to remove locally stored App data
• Contact us at contact@cuspart.com regarding privacy questions or deletion requests
6. Children’s Privacy
Cuspart: myCal is not directed to children under the applicable minimum age in their country or region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information handled through the App and our support channels. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. International Processing
Apple, Google, and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. These providers are responsible for handling information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable legal requirements.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published with a new “Last updated” date.
