Motiaro Studio — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Motiaro (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in the Motiaro Studio application (“Motiaro”, the “App”).
1. Summary
Motiaro is designed as a local-first creative tool. Based on the current App implementation:
– we do not require an account or login;
– we do not operate a Motiaro cloud workspace or upload your projects, media, or exports to our servers;
– we do not sell your personal information;
– we do not use advertising or third-party analytics SDKs in the App;
– subscriptions are purchased and verified through Apple’s StoreKit services.
2. Information stored on your device
The App may store the following locally on your device:
– project names, project scenes, template selections, and editor settings;
– appearance and export preferences;
– subscription entitlement state needed to unlock purchased features;
– temporary video-export files until they are removed by the App or the operating system.
This information is used to provide the App’s editing, project, preview, export, and subscription features. Local project data remains on your device unless you choose to share or export it using an Apple system share destination.
3. Content you import or create
Text, images, video, audio, and other content that you enter, import, edit, or export in Motiaro is processed locally on your device for the requested feature. We do not receive or inspect this content on Motiaro servers under the current App design.
When you use a system sharing or export action, the content is sent to the destination you select. That destination’s own privacy policy and terms apply.
4. Subscriptions and Apple
Motiaro offers auto-renewable Weekly and Yearly subscriptions. There is currently no free trial.
Apple processes payments and manages billing, renewals, refunds, and Apple Account information. Motiaro does not receive your full payment-card details. Through StoreKit, the App receives the product and entitlement information necessary to determine whether premium features are unlocked, such as the purchased product identifier and verified transaction status.
Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and applicable App Store terms:
5. Information we do not collect through the App
The current App does not request or use contacts, location, camera, microphone, photo-library access, or advertising-tracking permission. We do not intentionally collect names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, biometric data, or the content of your projects through the App.
Apple and the operating system may separately process diagnostics, crash reports, device information, or transaction information according to your device settings and Apple’s policies. Those practices are controlled by Apple, not by Motiaro.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may receive or disclose information only when reasonably necessary to:
– provide the App and verify purchases through Apple’s services;
– comply with law, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
– protect the rights, safety, security, and property of Motiaro, users, or others;
– complete a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
If the App later adds analytics, advertising, cloud storage, accounts, or other data-processing services, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those practices are introduced where required by law.
7. Retention and deletion
Local project and preference data is retained on your device until you delete it, delete the project, remove the App, or the operating system clears it. Temporary export files may be removed automatically.
Deleting the App does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings. Apple retains transaction records according to its policies and legal obligations.
Because the current App does not maintain a Motiaro account or cloud database, we generally cannot retrieve or delete local project data remotely. You can delete it directly on your device.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive information about the processing of personal data. Since the current App does not create a Motiaro user account or central project database, most project data is controlled directly by you on your device.

9. Children
Motiaro is not knowingly directed to children under the minimum age established by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the request.
10. Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the App’s local-first design. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device and maintaining backups of important projects and exports.
11. International processing
Motiaro itself does not operate a cloud project service under the current App design. Apple may process App Store transactions and related information in countries other than your own. Apple’s terms and privacy policy govern that processing.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our services, or applicable legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted at the same URL with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
