myCicliva Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 10, 2026
Last updated: August 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cuspart (“Cuspart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in the myCicliva application (the “App”).
1. Summary
myCicliva is designed as a local-first application.
The App does not require a Cuspart account, email address, contacts, location, photos, microphone recordings, advertising identifier, or social-media account.
Cuspart does not operate a user account or health-data collection server for myCicliva. We do not collect, store, sell, rent, analyze, profile, or use your health data or journal entries for advertising, marketing, analytics, or data mining.
The App does not contain third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Most information created in the App remains on your device. The only App feature that intentionally sends App-generated information off your device is optional Partner Sharing.
2. Information stored locally
Depending on the features you use, myCicliva may store the following locally on your device:
– cycle and period entries;
– symptoms, pain, sleep, water, energy, mood, and medication records;
– profile settings and health-mode preferences;
– reminders and notification preferences;
– widget configuration and local widget snapshots;
– locally generated reports, scores, estimates, and insights; and
– subscription entitlement status supplied by Apple.
This information is used to provide the App’s features and is not sent to Cuspart’s own servers.
Deleting the App may remove local App data according to Apple’s operating-system behavior. Information stored in Apple Health, iCloud, or device backups may be managed separately through Apple’s tools and settings.
3. Apple Health and HealthKit
Apple Health integration is optional and requires your permission.
If enabled, myCicliva may read selected HealthKit information such as activity, sleep, body measurements, temperature, and other supported health information to generate summaries inside the App.
The App may also write selected menstrual-flow information to Apple Health when you enable that option.
HealthKit information is processed for your direct benefit inside the App. Cuspart does not send HealthKit data to its own servers, sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through Apple Health or device settings. Apple’s HealthKit terms and privacy practices also apply to information stored in Apple Health.
4. Optional Partner Sharing
Partner Sharing is disabled unless you choose to enable it.
When you create or update a partner share, myCicliva may send a limited rhythm summary to Apple’s public CloudKit database so that another person using your sharing code can retrieve it.
The basic partner summary may include:
– your display name;
– cycle mode and estimate-level cycle context;
– cycle-day and next-period information;
– the most recent period-start summary;
– a log count; and
– the date the summary was updated.
You may additionally choose supported rhythm fields such as:
– current cycle phase;
– period approaching information;
– fertile-window status;
– peak-fertility estimate;
– pregnancy week;
– postpartum day; and
– a general rhythm summary.
The following are not included in the Partner Sharing summary:
– raw journal notes;
– raw symptom records;
– detailed medication records;
– mood details;
– sexual-activity details;
– doctor reports;
– exported files; or
– full health logs.
Anyone who has your sharing code may be able to retrieve the active summary. You are responsible for protecting your sharing code.
You can stop Partner Sharing inside the App. Stopping sharing deactivates the shared record for future retrieval. Deactivation does not guarantee immediate deletion of technical records maintained by Apple. Apple may retain technical records according to its CloudKit terms and policies.
The Partner Sharing summary is used only to provide the sharing feature. Cuspart does not use it for advertising, analytics, profiling, or data mining.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
myCicliva+ purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store.
Cuspart does not receive your full payment-card information. The App receives the subscription entitlement and product information needed to unlock features, restore purchases, and display subscription status.
Subscription billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled according to Apple’s App Store policies.
6. Information we do not collect
Except for the limited information intentionally sent through optional Partner Sharing, Cuspart does not collect or receive:
– health, cycle, symptom, sleep, pain, medication, or journal data;
– personal identifiers or contact lists;
– precise location;
– photos, videos, voice recordings, or message content;
– advertising identifiers;
– cross-app tracking data;
– advertising profiles; or
– analytics profiles about how you use the App.
We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
7. Security and retention
Local App information is protected by the security features of your device and operating system.
Partner Sharing information is stored in Apple CloudKit only when you intentionally enable that feature. The App deactivates the CloudKit record when you stop sharing.
Because CloudKit is operated by Apple, Apple’s security, retention, and privacy practices also apply to information stored there.
8. Children’s privacy
myCicliva is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or its data practices change. The “Last updated” date will show when changes were made.
