Privacy Policy for NotchPulse

NotchPulse is designed to work locally on your Mac. We do not collect, store, sell, rent, or share personal data from the app.
Data We Collect
We do not collect personal data from NotchPulse.
NotchPulse does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or third-party data brokers. We do not create user profiles and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Local Permissions
NotchPulse may ask macOS for permissions only when a feature needs them:
– Location may be used to show local weather.
– Automation may be used to control supported music apps or browsers.
– Camera or microphone access may be requested by websites opened inside the built-in browser, depending on the site.
These permissions are controlled by macOS. You can allow, deny, or revoke them at any time in System Settings > Privacy & Security.
On-Device Data
App preferences, enabled widgets, layout choices, browser settings, favorites, and Pro entitlement state are stored locally on your Mac using Apple system storage. We do not receive or store this information on our servers.
Weather, Browser, and Third-Party Websites
Some features may make real-time internet requests only to provide the feature you asked for. For example, weather may request forecast data for your selected location, and pages opened in the built-in browser connect directly to the websites you visit.
We do not collect or retain these requests. Third-party websites and services may have their own privacy practices. NotchPulse is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites you choose to open.
Purchases
NotchPulse Pro Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple ID credentials. The app only checks Apple-provided purchase entitlement information to unlock Pro features and restore purchases.
There is no subscription, no free trial, and no automatic renewal for NotchPulse Pro Lifetime.
Children’s Privacy
NotchPulse is not intended to collect information from anyone, including children. If you believe information has been provided to us through a support request, contact us and we will delete it where applicable.
Support Requests
If you contact us by email, we may receive the information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address and support details. We use this information only to respond to your request.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app’s features or data practices change. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
