Cuspart: IPTV — Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
Cuspart: IPTV is a media player that lets you access media sources you choose. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app, including Cuspart: IPTV Pro.
The publisher and data controller is Cuspart. Contact: contact@cuspart.com. Website: [cuspart.com](https://cuspart.com).
This policy covers the app and communications with us about it. It does not describe cookies or additional processing that may be introduced separately on our website.
1. Information used by the app
You do not need to create a separate Cuspart online account to use the app. You may connect accounts maintained by your media provider, media server, Apple, or another supported service.
The app processes the following information to provide the features you use:
| Information | Purpose |
| — | — |
| Playlist links, server addresses, provider usernames and passwords, portal device addresses, and access tokens | Connecting to your selected sources and playing their media |
| Channel and catalog information, program listings, artwork, and metadata | Displaying and searching your library and TV guide |
| Favorites, watchlists, watched status, viewing history, playback positions, and profile information | Personalizing your library and continuing playback |
| Preferences, parental-control settings, subtitle files and timing, and reminder information | Applying your choices and providing the requested features |
| Downloads, recordings, their source links, and download history | Offline access and managing saved media |
| Apple purchase and entitlement information | Checking subscription access, trial eligibility, and restoring purchases |
Library information is generally stored on your device. The app uses the system Keychain for supported stored credentials. Enabling iCloud sync creates additional cloud copies of the information described below.
2. Connections to your sources
When you add or use a playlist, IPTV provider, media server, or network share, the app communicates with that source. Requests may include your credentials, selected media identifiers, playback requests, and relevant device or client information. The receiving server can also receive your IP address and ordinary network request information.
Source links can contain usernames, passwords, or tokens. These details may be necessary for playback, downloading, or casting. Only connect to sources you trust. Cuspart does not control those providers’ privacy practices, content, or retention periods.
3. Optional iCloud synchronization
If you enable iCloud sync, the app stores synchronized library information in your private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. This allows your compatible devices to retrieve and update that information.
Synced information can include playlists, channel information, provider credentials and token-containing links, favorites, watchlists, profile-related library information, viewing history, playback positions, supported preferences, saved subtitle text and timing, and download history and source links.
Downloaded video files and recordings themselves are not uploaded as part of this library synchronization. A download entry on another device does not mean the video file is available offline on that device.
Turning off synchronization stops further syncing from that device; it does not by itself delete an existing cloud copy. Use the app’s cloud-copy deletion control to remove the synchronized cloud library. Other devices may retain local copies, and later synchronization may upload retained information again. Network availability can delay changes.
Apple operates iCloud and CloudKit under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not describe this feature as end-to-end encrypted. Device backups and Apple’s own retention processes are separate from the app’s sync controls.
4. Metadata, subtitles, and external links
The app may contact TVmaze, Wikidata, Wikipedia, and Wikimedia Commons to retrieve information about titles, people, descriptions, or artwork. These requests may disclose search terms, titles, identifiers, language choices, and ordinary network information such as your IP address to the relevant service. Artwork may also be loaded from your provider or the image host specified by that provider.
If you configure and use online subtitle services, requests to OpenSubtitles may include the title or media identifier, subtitle language, and the API key or account authorization required by that service.
Opening a trailer, attribution link, or other external link connects you to that website or app. Its operator’s policy applies to that interaction. Relevant policies include [Wikimedia’s Privacy Policy](https://foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Policy:Privacy_policy) and the policies published by TVmaze, OpenSubtitles, and your chosen providers.
5. Casting and local network access
When you use supported casting features, the app can discover receiving devices on your local network and send the selected playback URL and media information to the receiver. A playback URL may contain provider credentials or tokens.
The app includes the Google Cast SDK. Its bundled privacy manifest declares device identifiers, product interaction information, and other diagnostic data for app functionality and analytics, declared as not linked to identity and not used for tracking. This SDK processing means the app should not be understood as performing no data collection at all. Google’s handling of information is described in its [Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).
You can manage local network permission in your device settings. Disabling it may prevent casting or connections to local media servers.
6. Purchases
Apple processes App Store payments. Cuspart does not receive your full payment-card details. The app uses StoreKit purchase and transaction information, such as the purchased product, subscription status, expiration, revocation, and offer eligibility, to determine access to Pro features. Apple may also make sales and performance reports available to the publisher.
Apple’s processing is subject to its [Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). Subscription cancellation is separate from deleting app data or uninstalling the app.
7. Permissions and support
Depending on the features you use, the app may request access to your local network, notifications, selected files, or system biometric authentication. You can manage permissions in device settings. Biometric checks are handled by the operating system; the app does not receive your Face ID image or biometric template.
If you contact us, we receive the information you send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, and diagnostic details. Please do not send provider passwords, access tokens, or unrelated personal information. We use support information to respond, investigate problems, and maintain the app. Apple may make crash or diagnostic reports available according to your Apple settings and its policies.
8. Advertising and disclosure
The current app does not include advertising tracking. We do not sell app library information or use it for cross-app targeted advertising.
Information is disclosed to the services needed for features you use, as described above. Information you send to us may also be handled by providers operating our support communications or disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish or protect legal rights. These statements do not mean that third-party services operate under Cuspart’s control.
9. Retention and your controls
Local library information is retained until you remove it or it is replaced or cleared through the app’s storage controls. Caches may be refreshed or removed automatically. Downloads and recordings remain until deleted or removed by applicable storage processes.
Cloud information remains subject to the sync and deletion controls described above. Uninstalling the app should not be treated as a reliable way to delete cloud copies, Keychain items, or Apple backups. Information held by your provider or another third party must be managed with that service.
We retain support correspondence only for as long as needed to address your request, maintain relevant support records, or meet applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion of information you have sent to us.
10. Privacy rights and legal grounds
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing needed to provide requested app features is based on providing those services; optional permissions and synchronization rely on your choices or consent where required. Support and security processing may be based on legitimate interests, and legally required processing on applicable obligations.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a competent data protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Contact contact@cuspart.com to make a request. We may need proportionate information to verify it. We may not possess a copy of information kept only on your device, with your provider, or in your private Apple cloud storage; in those cases we can explain the available controls.
11. Security, international processing, and children
We use available platform protections, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. User-configured sources may use HTTP rather than HTTPS; information sent over an unencrypted connection may be exposed in transit.
Apple, Google, metadata services, and your selected providers may process requests in countries other than your own. Their policies explain their locations and transfer protections. Where we transfer personal information ourselves, we will apply safeguards required by applicable law.
The app is not specifically directed at young children. Family profiles and parental controls are tools for adult-managed use and cannot guarantee that every provider classifies or restricts content correctly. If you believe a child has sent us personal information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements. The updated date will appear above, and we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
