PROMPTER — PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Prompter is offered under the Cuspart brand (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Your scripts and recordings may contain personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how Prompter processes that information and the choices available to you.

Privacy contact: contact@cuspart.com
1. Content You Create or Import
Prompter processes the scripts, documents, images, recordings, subtitles, and other materials you choose to use in the app.
This processing supports the actions you request, including editing, teleprompter reading, recording, recognizing text, generating subtitles, and transferring content.
The current version stores your library locally on your device. Creating or editing content does not, by itself, send that content to us.
Device backups managed by Apple or another backup provider are separate from Prompter’s own storage. Their operation depends on your settings and the provider’s policies.
2. Device Permissions
Prompter requests access to device capabilities when a feature requires it.
Camera
Used to record video or photograph text you choose to import.
Microphone
Used to record audio and support speech-based features you start.
Photos
Used to work with images you select or save completed recordings when you request it. Access depends on the system picker and permissions used for that action.
Files
Used to read documents or images you select and export content to locations you choose.
Local Network
Used to discover and communicate with nearby devices when you enable supported connection, reading, or sharing features.
You can manage permissions in your device’s settings. Denying or withdrawing a permission may prevent the related feature from working without preventing unrelated features from being used.
3. Text Recognition and Speech Processing
Photo-to-text recognition uses on-device processing.
Supported voice-follow and subtitle features use on-device speech recognition. Availability depends on your device, operating system, and selected language.
These recognition features do not require us to receive your images or audio for processing.
Recognized text may become part of a script or subtitle file when you choose to save it. Audio may remain part of a recording you create.
Recognition results may contain errors. Review them before publishing or sharing your content.
4. Connected Devices and Local Sharing
When you enable a connected-device feature, Prompter exchanges the information needed to provide it.
Depending on the feature, this may include:
• Device names and connection information.
• Pairing codes or session credentials.
• Reading commands and playback status.
• Reading position.
• Script content and revision history.
• Recordings or other files you approve for transfer.
Library sharing may include multiple scripts and their history, not only the script currently open. Review the sharing screen before approving an exchange.
Browser reading sends the script and relevant reading information to the browser you connect.
Apple Watch remote control exchanges reading commands and playback status.
These features are intended for trusted devices and networks. Do not share pairing codes or session links with people you do not trust.
Information received or saved by another device may remain there after you disconnect.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
Apple processes App Store purchases and subscriptions.
Prompter may process product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and purchase or entitlement information supplied by Apple to verify purchases and determine access to paid features.
We do not receive your full payment card details.
Apple processes payment and Apple Account information under its own terms and privacy policy.
6. Support Communications
If you contact contact@cuspart.com, we receive the information you send. This may include your email address, message, and attachments.
We use this information to answer questions, investigate reported problems, and provide support.
Avoid sending sensitive scripts, recordings, or personal documents unless they are necessary to explain your request. Remove or obscure unrelated personal information before sending attachments.
We retain support communications only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain relevant support records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
7. Diagnostics and External Services
Apple may process device, purchase, and diagnostic information according to its policies and your system settings.
If Apple makes app diagnostics available to us, we may use them to investigate crashes and improve reliability.
When you export content to another app, service, or storage provider, that recipient processes the information under its own policies.
We do not sell your scripts or recordings or use their contents for advertising.
Apple’s Privacy Policy is available at:
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
8. Why Information Is Processed
We process information to provide the features you request, verify eligible purchases, respond to support requests, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on:
• Performance of a contract or steps you request before entering a contract.
• Your consent, where required.
• Legitimate interests, such as responding to support requests and maintaining security, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Compliance with legal obligations.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.
Device permissions control access to device capabilities. They do not replace additional consent required by applicable law.
9. Retention and Deletion
Content stored in Prompter remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app, subject to recovery features and system backups.
Items in Recently Deleted may remain recoverable until permanently removed.
Deleting an item from one device does not necessarily remove copies exported to Photos, Files, another device, a browser download, or another service. Manage those copies separately.
Removing the app does not cancel an App Store subscription or necessarily delete copies retained in device backups.
We cannot directly access or delete information stored only on your device. You can manage it through the app and your device’s storage controls.
Information sent directly to us, such as support correspondence, is retained according to its purpose and applicable legal requirements.
10. Security
We use platform security features and access controls appropriate to the functions involved.
No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your devices, keep software updated, and connect only to trusted recipients.
Different sharing methods may provide different protections. A local browser connection should not be assumed to provide the same protections as an encrypted device-to-device transfer.
11. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You choose which content to import, which permissions to grant, whether to enable connected-device features, and what to share.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:
• Request access to personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion.
• Request a portable copy of eligible information.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
• Complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email contact@cuspart.com and include “Prompter Privacy” in the subject.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on information we hold. We will not request access to your device-only content merely to process a privacy request.
Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions or retention requirements.
12. Children’s Privacy
Prompter is not specifically directed to children.
We do not knowingly solicit children’s personal information for our own purposes.
If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact contact@cuspart.com so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
13. International Processing
Depending on the services involved, information may be processed outside your country of residence.
Apple and other providers you choose to use process information according to their own privacy policies.
Where we transfer personal information internationally, we comply with applicable transfer requirements and use safeguards where required by law.
For questions about the handling of information you send to us, contact contact@cuspart.com.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Prompter’s features, data practices, or legal requirements change.
The date above identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before introducing materially different processing.
